Travel Planner Map is built with your privacy in mind. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information about you. Everything you create — your pins, notes, photos, and categories — stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
We do not collect any information from you. Specifically:
All content you enter into Travel Planner Map — including saved locations, notes, photos, and categories — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud Drive enabled, Apple syncs this data across your own devices using your personal iCloud account. We have no access to this data.
Travel Planner Map fetches historical climate data from Open-Meteo, a free and open-source weather API. These requests are made directly from your device to Open-Meteo's servers and contain only geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) for the weather stations you configure. No personal information is sent. Please refer to Open-Meteo's terms for their data practices.
Travel Planner Map uses the following Apple system frameworks that may be subject to Apple's own privacy practices:
These services are provided by Apple and are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Travel Planner Map does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect no data at all, the app is safe for users of any age.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Because we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes.
